Parent Information

First Day of Camp-Tuesday, June 29: Enter camp at the Worship Center main entrance and go to the table with the letter that corresponds to your last name. You will receive a white envelope that contains a key tag, nametags, and an explanation of drop off and pick up procedures. After you receive your envelope, proceed to the Preschool area to put on your child’s nametag(s) and put their lunchbox in a bin that corresponds with the symbol for their class. There will be several signs as well as camp staff to help you find classrooms.

Arrival and Dismissal Procedures:   Please knock upon arrival, and a teacher will greet your child at the door and accept their belongings, including a change of clothes if your child is potty training. After the first day, the downstairs classes will meet their teacher in the Worship Lobby and be taken downstairs as a class. Classes will be identified by their symbol.

Each person who comes to pick up your child will need either a key tag OR a photo ID - no exceptions. If someone other than you or your spouse will be picking up, please send a note to your child’s teacher. We have this system in place for your child’s protection. After the first day, downstairs classes will be brought upstairs as a group to be picked up in the Worship Lobby.

Dress for Camp:  Many of the activities for this camp are designed with the understanding that kids are probably going to get messy. Children should come dressed ONLY in loose fitting clothing and tennis shoes that will be comfortable during camp. Since we will be outside each day that it does not rain, please apply sunscreen to your child.

Outdoor Fun:  During Week 2 of camp, July 6 and July 8, we will have water activities outside. Please send a towel and a change of clothes, clearly labeled with your child’s name.  No bathing suits or swim trunks are needed.

Lunch: Camp includes a light snack for your child each day. Please send a lunch and drink each day that your child can feed himself and that does not need to be heated. Due to allergies, please do not send any items containing nuts, including peanut butter.

Allergies/Special Needs: Please check the list of snacks to see if your child has an allergy to any of these foods and send an alternate snack if necessary. Any child with allergies/medical conditions will have a colored dot on his/her nametag to alert all teachers who work with them to be aware.
