Are you community-minded with a desire to make a real difference in the lives of people around you? Do you love connecting with your neighbors? Want a place to use your passion for life and experience to serve others and help create community? Apartment Life has just the opportunity you've been searching for!

We provide opportunities for individuals and life groups to serve alongside our apartment teams, contact Pastor Dean Osuch for more information.

The mission of CARES by Apartment Life is to radically transform apartment communities nationwide, through a resident retention program called CARES. Through the CARES program the team is provided the opportunity to impact local apartment complexes by developing a sense of community through its proven four-pronged methodology. The program consists of welcoming new residents into the community - WELCOME, hosting three to four monthly events to connect with residents - CONNECT, caring for the needs of residents throughout the year - CARE, and seeking to positively impact a resident's decision to extend their involvement in the community by renewing their lease - RENEW.

Apartment Life is looking for "teams of 2" (a family, married couple, or two compatible same gender singles with experience living and working together) that have a desire to lead this program and combine heart-felt service with joy, fun and authentic relationships! Apartment Life is looking for people like you - people who recognize that apartment residents want more than just a place to live, they want a community of friends, a place to belong, and a personal touch. Partner with us in a movement to be the change and become the neighbors who make an apartment a home! For more information contact Pasor Dean Osuch at 770-582-2478. You can also visit our website at www.caresteam.org.

Let's make a difference in our community... Be the hands and feet of Jesus by helping out at the Norcross Cooperative Ministry (NCM). There are so many opportunities ranging from the need for regular volunteers to ongoing projects for groups and families to making donations of clothes, food, or school supplies by having local drives. To get more details check out NCM's website at www.norcrossco-op.org

Of course, if you have any general questions about the Norcross Co-op, please contact Patti Henderson at 770-447-8692 or pdhendersons@mac.com. Your willingness to help us at the NCM allows His glory to brighten the world through you!

The mission of RE-CHRIST MINISTRIES is to reach at-risk youth through evangelism and enrichment mentoring. For the past six years we have been serving our community via after school programs, ESL classes, Bible studies, and other seasonal events designed to promote Christ and build a sense of community in lower socio-economic apartment communities located in Gwinnett County Georgia. We have been blessed to disciple and tutor hundreds of students and adults during this time, witnessing many of them develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The design of our outreach is for RE-CHRIST MINISTRIES to be a conduit for the local church and community to unite. It is our vision to provide local church members the opportunity to serve their community while drawing community members into the Body of Christ. In order to be effective for God local churches must meet the spiritual and practical needs of an ever growing community comprised of multi-ethnic cultures by taking the church to the people. "This is pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father, to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. (James 1:27 )" In addition to our base ministry, geared at impacting local lower socio-economical apartment communities, we also seek to use the vast opportunities in our community to share the love of Jesus with those is need. We have done this by hosting worship services at the Youth Detention Center, Counseling families who are experiencing drug addiction with their children, working within the local school system, and seeking to impact the homeless living in certain motels throughout our community.

Peachtree Elementary:

Child Evangelism Fellowship is offering you a wonderful mission opportunity. We're looking for kid-friendly, mission minded adults. You may be young, or young at heart, thinking about retiring, grey-haired grandparents, or a home-schooled teen (one parent must participate), we have the perfect place for you to serve. It's with little girls and boys in a Good News Club at a local public school. You heard me, the public schools! Once a week, for an hour and a half in an after-school program, we have the right to pray and teach the Bible to the children who would like to attend. Since 2001 it's been the best kept secret, BUT THE SECRET IS OUT!

Child Evangelism Fellowship www.cefofgeorgia.com is the only legal entity I know of that has been given a U. S. Supreme Court decision that allows us access to America's public schools to hold Bible Clubs for kids who want to attend. Do you remember when prayer was removed from public schools? This high court decision in 2001 has given us back the right to prayer and Bible study in public schools, which is unprecedented in legal and cultural terms. We don't know how long this window of opportunity will be open so we must seize the day! We have over 200 Good News Clubs in Georgia and four in Gwinnett County; one school in your own backyard. We are praying that God will open more doors of opportunity. "God, the faithful and true will open a door that cannot be shut" (Rev 3:7 ) and we need teams ready to go! I would love to have you join me in this God-size mission field.

If this is something that resonates in your heart please ask God and give Pastor Dean Osuch a call 770-582-2478. Trainings will be in September.
