Shutter Bugs
Come; let’s journey together along the path of capturing God’s beauty with our cameras. Everywhere you look there is something worthy of recording; nature, people, places and things. Let’s get together this summer and find those things and learn more about each other and photography. I have a passion to see things the way that God sees them and I am learning daily about Him, the world, and how to use my camera to glorify him. We can find locations nearby and venture further afield to explore the beauty just waiting for us. We can learn from each other, practice different aspects of photography and grow twice a month or more often if the passion is there. I am available Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, so let’s put our heads together and come up with a calendar and locations that works for all of us. Feel free to bring friends to join us.
Possible locations: Norcross City Parks, Goat Farm, Yellow River Game, Local River Parks, Capital Area, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Grant Park, Zoo Atlanta, Gibbs Garden, Little 5 Points, Pine Mtn Safari, Sunflower Farm and/or Norcross Houses/Bldgs.
Please note that you do not have to have a fancy camera to have fun and learn. What we will be learning applies to all cameras, it is about how we see (light & shadows) and telling a story/message (composition) with our photos…and Most importantly: Having Fun together!

Summer Psalms Studies with Sandy
At PCBC, Room # B 218-219, AM & PM
9:30 – 11:30AM OR 7:00 – 8:30PM
Tuesday, June 18 – Psalm 23
Tuesday, June 25 – Psalm 34
Tuesday, July 9 – Psalm 27
Tuesday, July 16 – Psalm 139
Bring your Bible and open & hungry hearts to study God’s word, and we will worship Him & have fun together. And, maybe, we will even find out what it is about the Psalms that seem to help so many people, when in distress or seeking direction, even non-believers. Study questions, will be available at the Welcome Center the week before each Psalm study. They are not meant to be, ‘the study’, but to be a stepping stone, to help us gain some insight as to what God wants us to learn & live out.
Group leader: Sandy Lundblad: ph. 770-368-0684 or pslundblad@gmail.com
No childcare available. Note: Room B 218-219 is located at the Reception Desk entrance & turn left.

Outreach and Service
Outreach and Service
- You can get involved by supporting our efforts at Peachtree Elementary through our Tuesday morning workdays at the school, donations of school supplies, and other ways.
- Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan's Purse, a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Operation Christmas Child has shared the Good News of God's love with hurting children through the simplest of gifts—shoe boxes! Filled with school supplies, toys, and personal items that are packed by caring people, these boxes help introduce children to Jesus Christ. You can get involved by filling a shoebox or by joining the Women's Ministry as we help sort and prep the shoe boxes at the local distribution warehouse. This activity will take place in late November/early December.
- We partner with various apartment ministries to provide support and to help host activities throughout the year.
For more information on how you can get involved, please contact the Women's Ministry at x2445 or email.
Inclement Weather Policy
The Women's Ministry's Inclement Weather Policy
For activities that take place during the day such as Tuesday morning Bible study, we follow Gwinnett County's schedule. So, if Gwinnett schools are closed, we will not be having Bible study that day. We will also try to post something on the WM's Facebook page and on the WM's homepage.
For evening activities, we will make a decision and try to let people know by 4 PM on the day of the event. We will post a notification WM's Facebook page and on the WM's homepage.
